I believe that women are designed to create. It’s how we’re wired. I also believe that you and I will put our stamp on the world in a unique way, and my mission is to help you connect with your purpose and use it to positively impact the world.
At the center of everything I do is a deep passion for healthy living (emphasis on the LIVING part, because what is life without Prosecco and guacamole?) I believe that in order to feel most powerful in your business and life you must cultivate and nurture a powerful relationship with your own body, the vessel that allows you to carry out your unique purpose in the world.
I’ve created a life I absolutely love—but it wasn’t long ago that I felt totally stuck. For years I felt like I didn't have a clear connection to my purpose. I was going through the motions, but deep down I couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that there was more for me. Have you ever felt that way?
It takes a special kind of person to acknowledge that desire for more and
boldly choose to do something about it—someone like you.
Over the last two years I have shocked myself with what I now realize I’m capable of—things like publishing a best-selling book and hosting my own live event for women entrepreneurs. And do you want to know a little secret? I’m no different than you.
I’m just a girl with a constant flood of ideas flowing through my brain (usually more ideas than I have time to act on) and just as many fears, doubts, insecurities and reasons why I’m sooo not equipped to bring these ideas to life. Can you relate?
For most of my life I listened to my own nonsense about why I wasn’t good enough, smart enough, or equipped enough to chase my dreams. I’d watch other people take action on their big ideas and succeed, but I was so paralyzed by fear that I did nothing to pursue my own.
Until I stopped to ask one simple (but powerful) question:
Wait...why NOT me?
That little question was the start of an amazing journey of self-discovery and exploration. A journey filled with embarrassing failures and some seriously amazing successes. I’m still on that journey. In fact, it kinda feels like I’m just getting started.
I’m fiercely committed to sharing real and authentic stories of women just like you and I, who have faced the same insecurities, fears, and limiting beliefs, but overcame them to create success anyway (whatever “success” looks like for them). We all know that real life isn’t always as glamorous as it appears on social media (at least mine doesn’t). If you most days you feel more like a hot mess than a total success, you’re in good company sister!
I’ll share my own experiences and what I’ve learned, and I hope you’ll share yours with me too. After all, as women we’re most successful when we collaborate, share resources, and genuinely root for each other to win. I’d love to stay connected on social media (I hang out mostly on Facebook and Instagram) and would love even MORE to have you join the Powerhouse Women Community on Facebook.
I’m honored to have you as part of my #girlgang!
Lindsey Schwartz is an Arizona-based Midwest girl at heart. After college she packed up everything she owned and moved west to pursue the corporate dream, only to realize that it was not for her. She dove into personal development in search of a way to make a living building her own dreams instead of someone else’s.
Lindsey started her first business part-time at the age of 26 and over the next several years became an accomplished fitness athlete, speaker, full-time entrepreneur, and author of the best-selling book Powerhouse Woman: How to get out of your own way, fulfill your unique purpose, and live a powerful life. In 2017 Lindsey founded the Powerhouse Women event as a way to help women get out of their own way and into ACTION around their own big ideas and dreams.
Through her wellness business (Isagenix) she has helped hundreds of individuals create lasting breakthroughs around their physical and financial well being. She has also mentored dozens of aspiring entrepreneurs in starting businesses of their own.
Lindsey is passionate about building community and believes that women are most successful when they collaborate and sincerely root for one another to win. Her heart for collaboration inspired Lindsey’s latest project, the Powerhouse Women GirlGang, a membership community for like-minded women to connect, grow, and confidently pursue their big ideas.
